The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority, Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India sets the price for a company to sell condoms in India. Condoms are considered an essential medical commodity because of the vital function they perform in society—ensure we have a good time without the side-effects, unplanned pregnancies, or unexpected health hazards.
